Max Reger - Four tone poems after Arnold Böcklin

Reger (1873-1916) was a late romantic German composer, whose traditional views have somewhat hampered appreciation of his work. He is mainly remembered for his organ compositions, but he was a skilled orchestral composer as well. His four tone poems inspired by Arnold Böcklin paintings, op.128, from 1913 are really beautiful.
