Douglas Lilburn - Aotearoa overture

Lilburn (1915-2001) was a New Zealand composer, whose work was influenced by the English school as well as Sibelius. His three symphonies are strong works, but perhaps even better is the Aotearoa overture from 1940, which takes its name from the Maori name for New Zealand (land of the long white cloud).
